DeMary Community Center

Help transform this building into the DeMary Community Center.

What's going on with this building?

Community Center Campaign Funds Raised
Amount Raised 7%
Help us transform this building into an all-inclusive community center! The center will provide FREE study and meeting rooms, a computer lab, and space for extensive programs and classes. We will also offer the building for FREE events and classes taught by the public.

Our goal is to use this space as a FREE resource for our wonderful community here in Minidoka County.

Need a quiet room for a Zoom meeting? Reserve a private zoom room for FREE. Need a space for your homeschooler to take their proctored tests? Just reserve a FREE study room. Where can you find a place to hold your beginner’s water color class? Give us a call! Need to make copies for work? Stop in and use the copier!

We also have plans to include a Library of Things! What is a Library of Things, you ask? Say you need to fix your door frame, but you don’t own a drill. Stop by the DeMary Community Center and check one out for FREE with your Library card. Or you want to take up Pickleball but want to try it first? Just borrow some paddles from the Library! Need a kitchen to make eight dozen cupcakes for the bake sale? We’ve got you covered! Snow shoes for a winter adventure? You bet!

But none of this can happen unless we have YOUR HELP!

The first thing we need to do is address the bathroom situation. We are planning a full remodel to make three accessible bathrooms. Next, we need to install an elevator so people can get to said bathrooms. Our building committee is currently working with an architect to finalize plans for the renovations. But all of this takes money!

If you, or someone you know, would like to donate time or funds to help the library, any contribution, regardless of size, is appreciated. Also, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! Share this with your social media friends. Tell the other mom’s at gymnastics class about our vision! Shout it from the rooftops! (If only you had a ladder…) Bring it up at breakfast with your fellow farmers at the cafe.

Thank you, so much! We appreciate you!
