The library is officially out of eclipse glasses to hand out. But wait! If you didn’t get a pair and still need some, you have a second chance.
Rob Mayer, a member of our local astronomy group, is doing a presentation on solarscopes and what to expect during the eclipse this Saturday, August 19 at 11:30am here at the library. We will also be have an Eclipse Party on Monday, August 21 from 10am-12pm. In addition to watching the eclipse, we will have eclipse chalk art, rice krispies Build-A-Sun, and other great family friendly activities.
Glasses will be available for those attending either one of these programs, so come join us for the event of the century!
