On August 21st, 2017, parts of the Continental United States will have the opportunity to see a full Solar Eclipse! And when that day comes around, we hope you’ll be here to experience it at the library. We will be having a Solar Eclipse Party from 10am-12pm, but there’s more to it than that!
August 19th at 11:30am there will be a presentation from a member of our local Astronomy club on Solarscopes and viewing the sun safely.
And, once again, on August 21st we will be having the Solar Eclipse party from 10am-12pm. Some of our activities will include Make-A-Sun, a live-stream of the eclipse from NASA, learning centers, and of course you will receive your very own eclipse viewing glasses.
